WebView is constantly developed and improved using the latest available object orientated architecture from Microsoft. Outside of the WebView structure Sims Recycling Solutions also has a highly developed and flexible e-commerce system. The e-commerce system is linked to WebView and we are able to allocate stock to retail sales through WebView.

WebView uses state of the art capture technology to record both the hardware and software asset details of every CPU (Central Processing Unit) based asset. WebView interrogates each individual asset via a WebView network connection. It works below the installed operating system and therefore does not require password or domain access. This means your data is not compromised as WebView only accesses the asset data and the users have no access to your confidential information.

The MAC address and Hard Drive Serial Number(s) can be used by you as a unique asset identifier which cannot be changed by user error. Example data feeds are available on request and can be provided in most available formats to suit your needs.

The software profile is captured immediately before the hard drive is securely erased, using Blancco® Data Cleaner. This provides you with invaluable data necessary for recording the destruction of software, a requirement for software asset register compliance.
